It's easy to lose track of all the work being carried out, and to find people moving in different directions, wasting time on the wrong tasks. Clarify & Focus Are Key: Any good manager will tell you that the primary key to effectively managing large teams is clarity in focus. It's important for each and every team member to to know the company's primary focus. For example, if your company is currently focusing on acquiring new customers to boost top-line growth, it's important for all team members to know about this. That way, Tim from operations will know to focus more on increasing process capacity, rather than on sourcing cheaper raw materials. A workflow management solution is anything that helps a business achieve the goal that all businesses want to achieve: improved efficiency. Whatever the nature of your business, workflow management software can help you to close the gaps in the way you operate. Here are some of the benefits you can expect to experience from workflow management software. 1. Blogging Platform For Tech Teams: Blogger vs Wordpress vs Medium vs Squarespace vs rest

In 2018, it's important for every business to have a blog. This is especially true for online tech businesses such as eCommerce, SaaS, eLearning etc. The more you blog, the more visitors you'll get. And in the online world, more visitors usually translates to more revenue. At Polydojo, our a tiny team of developers is taking on the slightly ambitious challenge of helping organizations set up workflows for reliably executing recurring business processes. While we've always meant to pay more attention to our blog, it hasn't quite worked out that way. Don't Re-Invent The Wheel So far, we were using a home-grown solution for publishing blog posts. As the blogging software wasn't our primary solution, we couldn't devote enough time to sprucing up the frontend CSS. The whole thing looked like something from the 1990s. We always meant to improve it, but get to it. As engineers, we often tend to have the 'I can build anything' attitude. This i

Image
It's great that your website has a "Contact Us" Page. But are enough of your visitors contacting you? In this article, we'll explore a few ideas for generating more leads with your contact page. 1. Ask Prominently Make it a point to prominently highlight the primary goal of your website. E-commerce sites usually highlight "Shop Now" and software services ask you to "Sign Up" or "Start Free Trial". If your website's primary goal is to get visitors to contact you, use a bold, highlighted, attention-grabbing  "Contact Us"  or  "Get In Touch"  button, on  each and every page  of your website. 2. Ask More Than Once Many visitors, after visiting your homepage and noticing your prominent  "Contact Us"  button, will scroll down to see the rest of your site. As the reach toward the bottom,  remind them to contact you ! I recommend giving your visitors at least three opportunities to contact you.

RequestBin  was a great tool for testing webhooks. At  Polydojo , the tool helped us roll our form-to-webhook integration; and sometimes, we even used RequestBin while doing demos for fellow devs. Last week, the good folks at  Runscope  took down RequestBin. The website now redirects to the project's  GitHub repository , which ominously reads: We have discontinued the publicly hosted version of RequestBin due to ongoing abuse that made it very difficult to keep the site up reliably. Please see instructions below for setting up your own self-hosted instance. One could still self-host RequestBin; and that is pretty sweet. But when you're tasked with setting up webhooks, do you really also want to be in-charge of provisioning the webhook-testing infrastructure? Alternatives It was time to look for alternatives; and to our surprise, there were quite a few. We evaluated most of them; and thought that it may be worthwhile to share our reviews Webhook Inbox  is c
